COS Tuition Cost & Financial Aid
For students who are residents of California, the tuition cost at College of the Sequoias is $46 per unit. All COS students must also pay a mandatory health fee of $21 each semester. Non-resident students are charged a tuition rate of $248 plus an additional $46 per unit. COS also charges a $9 transit fee for part-time students and $10 for full-time students. This fee covers the annual costs of operating the college's transit program and all students who take at least one course on campus are required to pay this fee.
Students who qualify for financial aid can receive federal and state grants, loans, and work-study jobs. In addition, students can apply for Cal Grants, Pell Grants, and other scholarships from the college or outside parties that are available to COS students.
