It‘s also possible to select from nearly 275 majors that are available at other Penn State locations. With these degrees, students can complete part of the program at Abington and then transfer to other campuses to complete the degree.

At Abington, students can choose from several different types of degrees including certificates, associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees, and graduate degrees. Some of the most popular programs include accounting, American studies, art, biology, business, criminal justice, education, computer science, nursing, pre-law, tourism, supply chain management, life science, and more. Students can also choose from various minors to enhance their specializations. School officials also make sure students have additional academic support in various manners, such as one-on-one appointments.

The center offers a variety of tools, resources, and services to assist students with finding the right full-time employment upon graduation. Students can receive assistance with resumes, interviews, negotiations, and cover letters.

The center has recently launched a new system called Careershift. This is a custom job search tool specifically designed for Abington students. It includes a job search board, as well as a way to save unlimited cover letters and resumes. Students can meet with a career counselor to determine the proper major for specific career goals. It is also possible to participate in career events, programs, webinars, and videos. Some students will even take advantage of internships and international job opportunities.
