Tuition Cost & Financial Aid

The Rose-Hulman average of the net price is $45,456. The high net price can be attributed to the fact Rose-Hulman is a private university with small class sizes and favorable professor to student ratios. Both out-of-state and in-state residents will be charged $51,927 before financial aid of any kind. Roughly 99% of all Rose-Hulman students use financial assistance to minimize the costs directly associated with earning a degree. It may also require another $18,000 or more not included in tuition such as room and board, classroom fees, and supplies.

Despite the already high costs of higher learning, students can expect to require even more funds for entertainment. If students wish to experience and participate in events and activities not associated with the school or that are only available off-campus, a personal entertainment budget should be considered. These activities require out-of-pocket costs not included in any previously stated expenses. And do not forget about weekend getaways, traveling home, and day trips in which most students enjoy participating.
