Get Matched With Online Colleges

Kettering University is proud to link academic excellence with practical experiences to yield long-term success in the real world. The university offers 13 undergraduate degrees in three colleges: the Colleges of Engineering, Sciences and Liberal Arts, and Management. Many of these degree programs offer co-op opportunities in which students work for a real-world firm for a term and then return to their studies. This may prolong the academic process, but upon graduation, co-op students are fully prepared to take on the real world. In fact, many are offered positions with their workplace.

Overview of Kettering University

Kettering students don’t just have great access to the real world. For recreation, the university has eSports teams that compete at the varsity and junior varsity levels. Currently there are teams that compete in Overwatch, League of Legends, and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, but they are soon to add more. Graduate students are also welcome to learn in the virtual sphere. Kettering offers seven online graduate degrees and five graduate certificate opportunities.

Kettering students are also able to participate in over 50 organizations, social activities, and intramural sports. There are also Greek social groups for women and men. On top of that, the university boasts a Formula SAE team that builds and races small-scale formula-style automobiles. They take the car from the CAD design screen, through manufacturing, and finally to the racetrack where they compete against other student auto fanatics. There are few other student activities that can combine this level of creativity, academic rigor, teamwork, and thrills.
