Kettering students don’t just have great access to the real world. For recreation, the university has eSports teams that compete at the varsity and junior varsity levels. Currently there are teams that compete in Overwatch, League of Legends, and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, but they are soon to add more. Graduate students are also welcome to learn in the virtual sphere. Kettering offers seven online graduate degrees and five graduate certificate opportunities.

Kettering students are also able to participate in over 50 organizations, social activities, and intramural sports. There are also Greek social groups for women and men.
