RIT students do more than study. Their learning takes varied forms outside the classroom by way of a myriad of clubs, activities, and leisurely pursuits. The campus is home to over 300 clubs and organizations that cater to interests such as politics, academics, dance, poetry, and more. Competitive students can participate in club or intramural sports that include fencing, disc golf, soccer, racquetball, E-sports, or table tennis.

Students also enjoy spending time at one of the five campus recreational centers. Students can spend unstructured time pursuing such as climbing, swimming, or racquet sports. There are also fitness classes available. To fuel all of this activity, RIT has 21 dining locations with meals to suit any palate or dietary need.
