MSU Tuition Cost & Financial Aid


The cost of attending Missouri State University depends on student type and program level. In-state, undergraduate students attending the institution during the 2021-2022 academic year typically paid $4,147 in tuition and fees to enroll in 14 credits per semester. Out-of-state students were responsible for an additional $4,102. Non-Missouri enrollees who meet certain ACT, SAT, and GPA criteria may, however, have this extra charge waived.

In addition to tuition and fees, students must be prepared to pay for housing, meals, books, and supplies. Missouri State University room and board was $4,718 per semester for both in-state and out-of-state students. The school also projected a total cost of $600 for books and supplies.
