Financial considerations are always an issue for students and their parents. Alaskan students will then be happy to find that their yearly tuition is very affordable. In fact, a year of tuition in Fairbanks is a mere $7,000 for a state resident. Out-of-state students who are not in the Western Undergraduate Exchange face stiffer tuition rates of $21,000. Total costs for a state resident who lives on campus come to $22,000. In-state students who live in Fairbanks pay a bit more, at around $25,000.
